Mausoleum Records began as a tribute to the tape-trading and zine culture that built heavy metal’s underground, and the site keeps that spirit by documenting bands, discographies and the scenes around them in detail most outlets skip.
Our small team of writers each specialize in a slice of the genre, from thrash and doom to modern extreme metal, and every band profile is built from verified release dates, lineup records and liner notes rather than secondhand summaries.
When we recommend gear, box sets or merchandise, we compare options first-hand against stated specs and listener feedback, favoring what suits a working metal fan’s budget and setup over whatever is simply best known.
Mausoleum Records participates in the Amazon Associates program and earns from qualifying purchases made through links on this site.
