JOHANNE JAMES, voted "drummer of the year" by the Classic Rock Society in both 2004/05 and 2006/07, and a member of prog-rockers THRESHOLD, founded KYRBGRINDER. This band, in which JAMES also vocalizes, have already enjoyed an incredible 2006, playing over 200 gigs, including the Classic Rock Society Festival, the Bulldog Bash Bikers Festival, and the Bloodstock Festival. KYRBGRINDER crosses several genres of heavy rock. Haunting metallic guitars interweave with complex drum patterns, yet retaining melody and offering thought provoking lyrics.
