At the time King Karma was backing Paul Rodgers, and was looking to find a bluesy Rock vocalist on the same level with Rodgers to strike out on their own. With his powerful voice and charismatic stage presence, Shaun Williamson, previously the vocalist with the Atlanta Rhythm Section, proved the right man for the job. King Karma's music is a gorgeous mixture of hard rocking guitar riffs and introspective acoustic passages.
