Predominantly experienced in the Classic-Metal field, guitarist JACK FROST unleashed his debut slab of metal-induced fury, RAISE YOUR FIST TO METAL, in 2003. Previously FROST had contributed his considerable talents to a number of acts and projects, such as SEVEN WITCHES, BRONX CASKET COMPANY, and FROSTBITE, after having made a name for himself – particularly in Europe – as a member of METALIUM and SAVATAGE. Despite being initially enthusiastically embraced by the latter, JACK would soon be somewhat unceremoniously ejected from the Florida act, much to the mystification of both SAVATAGE and JACK FROST fans.

FROST enlisted a might impressive list of guest musicians on RAISE YOUR FIST TO METAL, including: GONZO SANDOVAL (ARMORED SAINT) MIKE DUDA (W.A.S.P.), JOEY VERA (ARMORED SAINT, FATES WARNING, SEVEN WITCHES), MIKE LePOND (SYMPHONY X), HARRY HESS (HAREM SCAREM), BOBBY LUCAS (OVERLORDE), and ROB ROCK, to name but a few out of a dozen or more top-class musicians and vocalists. Most of the guests also participated in the song-writing process. The album, heavy on traditional eighties metal, was well received by fans and media alike.

And now, on October 10th, JACK FROST is set to release his sophomore solo outing, on MAUSOLEUM RECORDS, entitled OUT IN THE COLD. JACK has once again united an inspiring cast of musicians and singers from various musical backgrounds, to help him with the recording of this album.

As a guitarist JACK FROST is a very talented artist to say the least and on OUT IN THE COLD he has captured an overflowing mixture of guitar licks and fist pumping cuts that manifestly showcase his panache. OUT IN THE COLD is another milestone in JACK FROST’S career and a stepping-stone to future outstanding albums, the next one certainly to be the coming SEVEN WITCHES album, tentatively named AMPED, which JACK is currently working on while you and I enjoy OUT IN THE COLD.
